Our Story
In honor of Elizabeth Khaitsa Mabwa Gabona ( August 02, 1954 - February 22, 2025.)
We established this foundation to celebrate a remarkable legacy. Elizabeth was a guiding light whose boundless compassion touched every life she encountered. Rather than dwell in grief, we find strength and love in her memory. Her absence leaves a profound silence; her spirit remains a vibrant force, inspiring our work each day.
We are focused on empowering rural teachers, vulnerable girls, and the sick in Uganda. Gabona Foundation delivers targeted support to families earning less than $100 monthly, fostering education, health, and hope through compassionate partnerships. Join us today—your partnership changes lives

Testimonials
Person 1
“Elizabeth had an incredible gift for bridging divides. During a complex refugee education crisis, she didn't just write policy—she was on the ground, sharing tea with parents and building trust. She taught me that true impact isn't in reports, but in the small, daily acts of humanity. Her diplomacy and heart saved that entire program.”
